Can galleries show up in the internal search?

Galleries have their own URLs.

Is there a way to make them show up in search results of the wordpress search fuction?

Example: I add a gallery that has an image. In the description of the image I add some content: “This is an amazing photo”

Can the gallerie be one of the results for url.com?s=amazing+photo ?

Not sure where else to post this question.

You can create wordpress Post with tags amazing photo and insert gallery shortcode to it, so WP search should find that Post for you.
Anyway, I’m working to integrate Gmedia to WordPress as much as possible and if it is possible I’ll add this feature to plugin in future updates.
