   I just got this plugin the other day and I really like it, but the thumbnails won’t show (there are just red X’s where the picture should be.

   This is the error message I get:
   You do not have the GD Library installed. This class requires the GD library to function properly. visit http://us2.php.net/manual/en/ref.image.php for more information

   Anyone know how to fix it? I tried to download the GD Library, but could not figure out what to download. Is anyone else having this problem?

   Hi,

   This plugin is awensome BUT unfortunately there is one big problem: displaying picture info (description) Text should be under the picture without need to click the “I” icon. For me it’s a huge problem so I’m very sorry but I won’t use it although I really liked it :(

   Beside this fault plugin is really awesome :)

   Hello. Can you please please tell me whether the the Full Screen,slideshow, Button and the Information pane can be removed on the plugin i purchased from you. You advised me to buy this on grounds that the following buttons could be removed.I have been ripped off before and don’t even care if you have ripped me off here. Just please be admirable and tell me if this can be done not.

   The plugin does not work when WordPress is hosted in Windows. I find that unusual as other plugins work fine.

   My client uploaded over 600 pics into 6 galleries (over 100 pics per gallery) and his gallery page won’t load? I had read that you can upload an unlimited amount of pics with this plugin?

    Well, I cannot see the gallery anywhere on the site. On the PlugIns page it says activated. The photos have been uploaded – all five galleries. So what do I need to do to get this to work? It isn’t even showing up on the home page or the widgets page.

    I’m having some trouble with the photo gallery plugin.
    When i am trying to upload an image with the flash uploader which is included in the package i’m seeing http 500 error’s all the time. Also the selected images just won’t upload.

    This is a great gallery plugin. I especially like the “full screen” mode. I was looking at your flash video gallery and wanted to know if that is available via a WP plugin. I’d like to use it on our site to replace what we have which is not reliable.

    This plugin is the perfect solution for what I need on one of my blogs.

    My only concern is that by clicking on the PGC button, readers will leave my website. Can I eliminate the PGC button? I don’t want people to leave my site by clicking on it.

    I am using the Slideshow skin.

    I am happy to buy the Slideshow skin. I don’t see a way to do it on the Photo Gallery Creator site. The only choice listed under the thumbnail of the Slideshow skin is “Free Download”.

    Let me know how I can buy it and I will do so.

      The “Slideshow” skin is free. But there are two skins that have auto slideshow option too – “Commercial Int.” and “GreenStyle Pro”. See demos on http://photogallerycreator.com/

    This plugin is really cool, it might be the best gallery plugin I have ever seen…
    However, there is an error when you try to load 2 or more different galleries in a completely different page.

    e.g/ I created a gallery called”Fishes”…I put 20 photos to this gallery and insert it into a page…Everything works fine…But when I create another gallery called “animals” with some photos and put it in another completely different page, it is NOT possible to see the images of this particular gallery. And this goes on…For each additional gallery I get the message: “Couldn’t load the media file.Error #2036″…The plugin works fine only with the first gallery that I created…
    Please, can you find me a solution because I really like this plugin and I might buy some skins…thanks anyway…

      use only latin letters or numbers for names of the folders (galleries). Wrong folder name: ιδέες-κουζίνα

    I like the plugin, but I am unable to use the flash uploader at all. When I click “browse” for the flash uploader, it does nothing. I also want to know how to access the description of the gallery itself. I write them, but don’t see how anyone could see them when viewing the gallery. I’d also like to know you can’t set different skins for different galleries, or is it that you can and I don’t know how?

    If these three things were fixed, I would rate this plugin as excellent and would purchase other skins. I can’t see purchasing them if I’m forced to use just one skin for all the galleries.

      I can’t tell you what is wrong with flash uploader on your site, maybe conflict with other plugin. Gallery description is not show in current skins. Use FlAGallery button on default post editor to insert shortcode – there is an option to use different skins for each flash album

    Hi,

    I have been trying your plugin and everything works fine, however the thumbnails are really bad quality (blurry or fuzzy in my opinion). Right now it’s the only thing that prevent me to buy it. I know you can edit the thumbnails, but I cannot find nowhere how to improve the thumbnails quality.

    Can you advice?

    I made some changes to my WordPress site and am no longer able to get the plugin to work. Errors displays in red in middle of gallery:
    [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032"]. Suggestions? I’ve backed out changes but may have some legacy code.

    The images uploaded fine and show on my slides but the thumbs are not editable this is what i see when I try to edit them.

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3244 bytes) in /home2/pavlicap/public_html/Blog/wp-content/plugins/flash-album-gallery/lib/gd.thumbnail.inc.php on line 747

    my previous comment wasn’t approved? wondering why…

    im looking to fix the overflow problem with the categories at the top of the green theme. they get cut off. cant i adjust the padding somewhere within the plugin?

    in your future versions i think it would be resourceful to use the shortcode “all” + “1,2,3″ whatever id you would like to include first.

      You can use Ids separated by comma instead ‘all’ in the shortcode
      [flagallery id=2,3,1 name=Gallery] – will display gallery #2 first, then #3 and #1 last

    Hello, first of all I would like to compliment you on your work of the Grand Flash Gallery. As a recent design school graduate, It is very pleasing to the eyes. I have implemented the gallery into my local host based test site to test it before I use it on my actual portfolio site, and have ran into an issue. I have pretty much everything working except I can’t edit the styling of the text within the info box of an individual image. I watched the video tutorial and you had shown the text was able to be edited within the Alt & Text Title/Description boxes..and yet every attempt I have styling the text with basic html tags has not worked. I cant change the font size, or make the title bold, which is really all I’m trying to achieve as the legibility is an issue with me. If you could please help it would be greatly appreciated, as after searching many hours I have come to the conclusion this is the only gallery I feel I would want to use that is ready-made. Thank you for your time.

          With this method, each individual image will require html. Instead, can the font be updated in the code so that all images in all galleries use the same font? Thanks, I really like your plugin!

    1) I want my users (Author) will able to upload the pictures as well.

    2) And they upload and go for the review for the admin and admin will approve then it will show at front.

    Hi Mister Flash-Album,

    a really NICE plugin you have there. I really like it! And for free? WOW! Unbelievable! Will buy you a beer when you could fix just this ONE little thingy:

    The thumbnails are loading before the first picture. When you have a lot of images (like me: 180 or more) than it’s really inconvenient to wait so long before you see the first picture… You know what I mean? If you could just change the loading order that would be amazing!

    Hi,
    One more question. I noticed that my large photos were taking a long time to load. I resized the photos in Photoshop so they are the same height as my gallery – 500px, and the re-uploaded. The new smaller photos will take a long time to load. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    I love this plugin, I am using it on a few different sites of mine. BUT, when I have a gallery within a post and the front page has a short description of the post along with a tag image, a bunch of extra text comes up from the gallery.

    I’m a Mechanical Engineering student and dont have much idea about Webdesigning and programming. However, I am very interest in these things. I’ve been hosting a personal site and a blog page in it where I update my new posts. I want to incude a new page named My Gallery where I can purely post just photos as a photo blogging page. I tried using some plugins but they just mixed up the blog page and the gallery page into one.
    I want to clearly host two different pages in same site: My Blog and My Gallery for two different blogging purpose.

    Can you give me some idea how this could be done?

    Just noticed that my drop down menus in WordPress 3.1.1 are appearing behind the Gallery in Internet Explorer 8. Looks like a wmode transparent or z-index property needs to be set in the Flash file. Anyway, can I edit this parameter myself in the plugin editor? Or is is something else?

    hey, i’m just starting to use the gallery and am having an issue where if there is more then one gallery on the page, only the first gallery retains the background color i chose in the skin options. I set the background to transparent, but only the first gallery on a page is transparent; the rest have a white background. i can’t seem to figure out what’s going on here. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! love the gallery!

    I have GRAND Flash Album Gallery, and it works great, until i want to change in skin options, the background color to “transparent”, it always put me a black color… I have a nice background style in my page so that’s why i want that this button work…
    how do I fix this??

    Great plugin but is it only possible to use one skin? I downloaded lightgrey and when I activate it, the default changes from ‘activated’ to ‘activate’ and posts which use it don’t show properly anymore.

    Whichever skin is shown as ‘activated’ works fine, the other breaks the post which no longer shows correctly.

    Could you also confirm that if a buy a skin, the PGC advertising link is removed (buying two is only of interest if I can use them both on different pages of the same site).

      Correction: The problem is showing multiple instances. Although not in the same post, posts are in the same category it is the category page that gets broken.

      I guess it could be got around by using the_excerpt() instead of the_contant().

    i liked this plugin because it did not inter fear with my WP theme. but now after the latest release i am having issues. i have a slider script that uses jQuery and now it wont work. so for now i had to uninstall your plugin. how can i revert back to an older version so i can still use it?

    I love your galleries. Yet, it would be nice if you can put up a tutorial on how to show captions for images outside the box of the gallery. I am looking for a replacement for my picture gallery at my main page at http://www.vanityshack.com.my. And I do not mind paying for yours. Please let us know how to put up captions and what are procedures if each image is of a different dimension from another?

    I need to have the images in order. I have names them projects 1, prjoects 2, projects 3 etc. Gone to Options > Sorting > File Name yet it doesnt appear in the correct order. I have chosen all the options but it doesnt appear in correct order.

    Any ideas whats wrong?

      Try check ‘Custom Order’ option -> go to Manage Gallery -> click Sort Gallery -> click on Filename column header to sort -> click Update Sort Order

    Hi – I’m using WordPress 3.2 beta, and when I upload pictures the thumbnails won’t render; I get an error message saying the memory has been exceeded. I’ve already increased the memory allocation in wp-config, so I don’t think it’s that.

    On a side note, NGG gallery thumnails won’t create either…

    I’d love any help or suggestions – your plugin is elegant!

    Hi,
    I bought and installed this plugin with the 3D Pprospect Photo Gallery v1.0 skin last week and I have two issues.

    1. In the “Overview” part of the menu when clicked the “What’s new at PhotoGallery Creator.com” fails to load.

    2. When managing my gallery I am unable to view or edit thumbnails regardless of which browser I use. When I click “Edit thumb” a blank box appears and then nothing. Is this a known problem?

    I need some help please.

        I have upgraded the plugin to 1.33 and after refreshing the skin the problems still exist.

    I’ve been have a problem with my galleries not displaying at all. The plugin used to work fine but quit a few weeks ago. My client is NOT happy.

    Your plugin seems to clash with Viper Quicktags for youtube shortcodes and SWFObject… I have to disable it for Vipers tags to work…any ideas…

    I have just discovered that the galleries I have created display fine in Firefox and Google Chrome, but not in IE9.

    Once uploaded the images in one gallery, system refuse to generate thumbnail and gives one error : ID1 Failure Occurred (Exceed Memory limit. Require: 81,82 Mbyte).
    Any idea about the reason and the solution?

      On your site you have video player with size 520×304, so the best size for video preview is 520×384

    Hello – I am using your most fabulous plugin: GRAND Flash Album Gallery. Ver. 1.40.

    This is a great gallery. However, I would like to be able to purchase the theme which came with it – it works best for us, without the tagline (your website) on the right side of the image.

    Is this possible? Do all of your skins have this on them?

      only free skins have that tag line. All commercial skins without backlink or watermark. There is only label with price on demo skins, so you can try before buy.
