I am having the same problem. It was working perfectly fine until I updated the plugin, then it stopped working. I have security plugins as well, and deactivated them and even deleted the .htaccess file (had a backup) and I still can’t upload anything. As far as I know the server has all files writable. How can I know for sure?
I’ve also contacted my server ITs and they can’t find anything odd…
