Assigning media files (images, mp3-files) to more than one albums ?

I would like to assign some media files (images, mp3-files) to more than one albums, without a second file copy. Is it pssible and how can I do that ?

Use Categories instead. Album have status and author. One file can’t be in few albums.

Copy that. But how can I sort them if I select media files by their category or Gmedia id’s?

If you go to Categories and edit it there you can find sort options for category (except custom sort, like in Albums).
Also you can set default sorting for categories and tags on Gmedia Settings page.
If you build gallery with only Gmedia IDs then items will show in order you’ve selected them.
