Error Uploading Every Other Image

When I upload more than one image at a time to the GMedia image upload, it always throws a 500 error for every other image for the first 20 images or so. After that, the rest upload just fine.

For example, if I upload 30 images, images 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 will all throw a 500 error. If I then re-upload those images that failed, the same thing will happen again; images 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20 will throw a 500 error.

Is this a known issue? Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
