I’m using the Gmedia playlist to replace the Flagallery grandmusic playlist on the same page and with the same theme — no changes except switching out the playlist.
The Gmedia playlist module seems to center only with deprecated < center > markup, not with either < div > or < p > + “alighncenter” — My original FlaGallery “grandmusic playlist” centers perfectly with a simple div class, while the Gmedia playlist remains hard left with the same class.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
Go to edit Gmedia Music Player module -> Advanced Settings tab -> save this to CSS field:
.jq-mplayer_module, .gm-music-player { margin: 0 auto; }
Now you can try to center player with a simple
<div class="aligncenter">
Works perfectly.
Many thanks for the response.
New question since Gmedia upgrade Version 0.9.10 :
Tthis CSS code no longer centers the music-player module.
Might I ask what I now need to center it?
Thanks.
It should work, but you need to go to Edit you music gallery and in Common Settings set Maximum Width for player. If it is 0 player width will be 100%
Thanks for responding.
That is the same code I used before, and the same div class — but it no longers centers the module.
I did set the Maximum Width at 350, but the player is still positioned hard left, not center.
So there must be a different CSS snippet for the new version of Gmedia.
For some reason my post was not positioned below your final post (with the CSS snippet). I have indeed used that snippet and have used the div, but it still does not work.
Can you send me link to the page with player?
Fixed in Version 0.9.11. Thanks.
