Tagged: migrate, move files, new website
I am trying to transfer all of my content from an old site to a new site. I installed a new copy of GMedia on the new site (since I needed a new license anyway). I have copied files via FTP (from old site to new site) and exported the old sql file from the database and then imported the data into the new database.
No luck so far. Not seeing any albums, galleries, etc.
Can you give me a tutorial on how to do this properly?
Did you transfer whole your database or only part?
After transfer try go to Gmedia Settings and click Reset Settings button.
Tried reset. No luck. Transferred the gmedia portion of the database only:
wp_dbname_gmedia
wp_dbname_gmedia_meta
wp_dbname_gmedia_term
wp_dbname_gmedia_term_meta
wp_dbname_gmedia_term_relationships
Because of gmedia deeply connected with the wordpress there are also records related to gmedia in the posts, postmeta and comments tables.
