Hello,
I have a large amount of images to upload into albums / galleries, etc. In Lightroom I always enter IPTC information such as Label, Title, and Caption. There does not seem to be any way to deal with importing this information into the Gmedia image fields. It makes no sense to have to re-enter this.
Is this something that can be added in the near future? Should I add this custom code? If I should add the code, could a sample clip be provided?
Looking forward to future updates. This plugin is simple, yet it provides the exact functionality I have been needing for a long time.
Thank you!
I think I’ve figured this out.
Thanks.
Explain please.
All of my images have keywords in IPTC field. When I import they are not being transferred to tags. How can I make this happen, I have hundreds of images and can’t redo tags for all of them again.
Thanks,
Kirill
I’ll add IPTC tags importing in future plugin updates, soon.
Update Gmedia to version 1.5.5:
Title, Caption and Keywords now automatically retrieve from IPTC fields during uploading.
If you want to import IPTC Keywords to Tags for already uploaded images, you need:
1) Select images with IPTC Keywords in Gmedia Library
2) In Action menu choose “Update Metadata in Database”
3) In Action menu choose “Add Tags..” -> check “Import IPTC Keywords from selected images to Tags” -> click “Add Tags” button
Note: only in Gmedia v1.5.5+
