New Uploads are not showing up in the Gallery at all

HUGE problem.
I have been able to use gmedia very nicely. Then I did the update today and was able to upload one pic. But now none of the new pics I upload show up in the Gmedia Gallery! I was able to upload one of them today after doing the update so I don’t think it has to do with that.
But I’ve tried about 3 times to upload 3 more pics. It APPEARS like they have successfully uploaded. I don’t get an error message. But when I go to the gallery they aren’t there.

This is a HUGE HUGE problem so can you help me ASAP?

OK I found out the issue:

The caption on some images had emojis. Once I deleted the emojis the photos uploaded fine.

I have one other issue though: The number count is off for tags. It says I have 23 photos of a particular tag and I actually have 22 It’s not a critical issue but I like to use that number as a check to make sure I’ve properly tagged all my photos.

Seems like I should make re-count button for tags, albums and categories…
