not to capitalize the first letters in image names (and it is buggy)

Hi, can you make an option to not to change size of the first letters in image names (taken from file names)? In our country it is very weird, especially when a name is long.
And it is buggy – when the first letter is some non asci letter (Czech letter with acute or caron), then this letter dismisses. I use Windows (XP and 10).
