After updating the thumbnail scale function does not work correct anymore. Instead of a smooth zoom effect it now gives a white flash to the zoomed thumbnail.
I do not know which update caused this problem:
– Gmedia from 1.8.94 to 1.8.99
– Phantom module from 3.9 to 3.11I have 2 website running Gmedia. One is updated. The other one, I do not dare to update because of this problem.
November 27, 2016 at 14:18 #8193RattusKeymasterPerhaps, it’s a CSS conflict with some other plugin or theme. Post the link to your gallery page, so I can tell more.

Is the flashing one (with Gmedia 1.8.99 and Phantom 3.11)http://www.schrootverwerking.nl/kraan/
Is the correct functioning one (with Gmedia 1.8.94 and Phantom 3.9)Note: the behavior only happens in Internet Explorer 11. Chrome, Edge and Firefox all work correct.
November 28, 2016 at 22:42 #8213RattusKeymasterTry update Phantom to version 3.12 now.
November 28, 2016 at 23:33 #8215AnonymousInactiveJust updated to 3.12
Sorry to say: there is no improvement.November 28, 2016 at 23:59 #8218RattusKeymasterWorks perfect for me:

Since you were convinced the problem was in Phantom, I decided to go ahead and update Gmedia from 1.8.94 to 1.8.99 on http://www.schrootverwerking.nl/kraan/ …..
Now the flashing happens on the Schrootverwerking.nl website too. So we can confirm now: the problem was in the Gmedia update, not in Phantom
November 29, 2016 at 13:28 #8227RattusKeymasterPhantom module is built in Gmedia, so when you update Gmedia plugin you’ll automatically update Phantom and all other built in free modules.
I’ll look on Win10 soon, but lets be honest, who use IE11 on Win10 if there is Edge browser?
November 29, 2016 at 14:37 #8230AnonymousInactiveAh, I see, you are right. Phantom was updated to 3.11, but I had to update manually to 3.12
IE11 on Win 10 …. I do :-) And also many of my IT colleagues cannot get used to Edge. But most important: the client I built the websites for, uses IE11.
Is there a way, I can go back to Phantom 3.9 for now?
The flashing does not only happen in the above website, but also on https://codeasily.com/wordpress-plugins/gmedia-gallery/
And just to be sure, I also tested on 2 other computers. Both show the flashing instead of zooming effect.November 29, 2016 at 14:40 #8231RattusKeymasterYou can copy it from “module” folder in older version of plugin: https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/grand-media.1.8.94.zip
November 29, 2016 at 15:59 #8232AnonymousInactiveOK, I first just copied the CCS. That fixed the flashing, but also gave me half thumbnails. Then I copied the JS and now all seems working fine. I hope you know what has changed between these versions, so you know where to look for a final fix.
While you are at it: can you please use a little higher value for: .mfp-bg, .mfp-wrap ?
Now it has z-index=99999, but well known theme DIVI already uses the same value to make their header fixed. So this makes the Gmedia Lightbox go behind the DIVI header.November 29, 2016 at 19:26 #8234RattusKeymasterWin10 +IE11: Fixed. Update Phantom to v3.13
November 29, 2016 at 21:04 #8237AnonymousInactivePerfect! Thank you :-)
November 29, 2016 at 21:16 #8238RattusKeymasterLeave a review for the plugin, please. It’s important for me: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/grand-media/reviews/
November 29, 2016 at 22:53 #8243AnonymousInactiveHaha, I already wrote the review, before I saw you asking for it here :-)
