Skin option popup pops up as a white screen

After upgrading to WordPress 4.0, skin options popup is just a

– white screen on chrome,
– İnternet explorer:
The website cannot display the page
HTTP 500
Most likely causes:
•The website is under maintenance.
•The website has a programming error.
What you can try:
Refresh the page.
Go back to the previous page.

Flagalery is 4.22

Directory optins for Flagallery are all 755.

deactivated flagallery re-activated not solved.

deactivated some plugins ( suspected) but not solved.

The problem is in your server, but not in the plugin.
Try deactivate other plugins, to be sure it is not a conflict.
Delete .htaccess file in wp-content folder (if it exists).

After upgrading to 4.23 Flagallery problem solved.
info for others: There is no .htaccess file in the wp-content folder.
