Hi,
Why when I update the plugin from wordpress It erases all modules and install the modules by default? Each way it erases photobox module, by example.
Thanks in advance!
Preinstalled modules, which are comes with the plugin placed in
‘/wp-content/plugins/grand-media/module/’ folder
and whole plugin folder replaces with every update.
Installed via Gmedia admin modules placed outside of plugin folder in
‘/wp-content/grand-media/module/’ folder.
If you are manually install / upload module via FTP, you should upload it to
‘/wp-content/grand-media/module/’, so after plugin update installed modules will be in safe.
so if my settings are in the /wp-content/plugins/grand-media/module/’ folder – how can i move it to the ‘/wp-content/grand-media/module/’ folder?
if i do it via FTP, will it work, or will we have issues with already defined galleries?
Settings saved in database, so you can move modules from one folder to another. If the same module is in both folder, then module from ‘/wp-content/grand-media/module/’ folder will be used.
