The GMedia plugin is one of the most complete and comprehensive plugin I have ever seen on WordPress. Being able to manage galleries by tag and exif data is just fantastic.
There are many ways to edit the fields attached to a picture in the plugin, but is there a way to update the picture itself? I would like to keep all the tags and descriptions already attached to an image, and just update the image itself without re-uploading a new one and retyping everything. Is there a function for that that I have missed? Any advice?
Thanks!
I’ll try to implement this feature in the next update. As for now the only way to do that:
1) Replace image with the same name via FTP in ‘/wp-content/grand-media/image/original/’ folder
2) Select image(s) in Gmedia Library -> choose in Action menu ‘Re-create Images’
Thanks for the workaround, that’ll do!
