White screen when Gmedia plugin is enabled

My site is showing just a blank white screen when the free Gmedia gallery plugin is enabled. I have to rename the plugin directory to get the site back. Here is some site info:
Version 1.10.07 of the Gmedia gallery plugin
Wordpress v 4.8
Running Divi theme but have tried with Twentyseventeen as well with the same results
No other plugins running when experiencing white screen
Using the define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘64M’); parameter

If the plugin is disabled, the site works fine but the page with the gallery only shows the gallery code.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

plugin requires at least 128MB of PHP Memory Limit on your server.

Thanks, I increased the memory to 256M and it still didn’t work. Upon further investigation, the server was set to 5.4 for PHP but reduced to 5.2 for the website. I changed the default setting for the PHP version to 5.4 and now everything is working.
