romanskiParticipantWhat’s up with this update? My dashboard notifies me that there is a new update to Gmedia, version 1.9.16. When I click “install now”, it goes through the process and says the new version was installed, but after less than a minute the plugin reverts back to version 1.9.15 and notifies me again to update.
Bug in the new version?cheers

RattusKeymasterThere is something wrong with WordPress.org Plugins Directory. There should be Gmedia v1.9.16 and Last updated: today (https://wordpress.org/plugins/grand-media/). But seams like ZIP is not generated automatically. Try later.

romanskiParticipantThanks Rattus, will do and no big deal.

kosisParticipantI had the same problem with 1.9.18 yesterday and today. WP tells me to update, I do so, it tells me it’s installed, then “after less than a minute the plugin reverts back” to 1.9.17. I waited overnight, tried to update again today, and have the same problem. Any fix?

RattusKeymasterThe problem is with WordPress.org.
Read this: https://make.wordpress.org/plugins/2017/05/11/repository-syncing-issues/May 14, 2017 at 20:16 #9503
kosisParticipantMany thanks, as usual, for the swift response.
I’m still unable to get the update to take but will keep trying. The “closest” I’ve gotten is that it updates to the same version, namely, 1.9.17.Thanks again.

RattusKeymasterYou can just check plugin page for new version https://wordpress.org/plugins/grand-media/
or click view details before update plugin to see if it really new version available for install.May 15, 2017 at 18:07 #9511
kosisParticipantI checked details each time I tried (I usually do anyway, just to see the changelog), and each time was told that the newest version was available (1.9.18), but it still would not install that version. Very strange. In any case, I checked again today, and the 1.9.18 did indeed install correctly. Thanks for keeping track of the WP background information. I would not have known to look there.
