The problem can be plugins conflict or missed wp_head(); and wp_footer(); functions in your WP theme.
Try disable other plugins one by one and see if it solve the problem.
If not, then try change wordpress theme to default to check if the problem in your current theme.You have JS errors on your page generated by Buddypress plugin.

Fix JS errors and gallery should work fine.
The problem could be in javascript error on the page or some other conflict. I need to see gallery page (not screenshots), send me link to page with gallery.
Seems like CSS for Photobox module not loaded or corrupted by Minify plugin. Try disable Minify plugin or play with it settings.
Check if you have hidden .htaccess file in ‘wp-content’ folder and delete it.
Also try deactivate others plugins to exclide plugins conflict.Be sure you have at least 128Mb of PHP Memory Limit on your server.
Also be sure that GD Library (needed for working with images) installed and enabled on your server.
You can see this information on Overview page.If all is OK, try go to Manage Galleries page -> edit galleries with broken thumbnails -> select images with broken thumbs -> in Action dropdown choose “Create new thumbnails” and click “Apply” button -> in popup click OK and wait till process ends.
