1) for automatic previews there need to be special libraries installed on the server and hosting should support that. Plugin can not make YouTube with your site.
2) The script support wmv but silverlight plugin should be installed.
In latest version of plugin you can use custom filters to create unique collections.
Go to “Albums, Tags, Filters..” page -> choose “Show: Custom Filters” -> click “Create Filter”. There you can mix any parameter to create unique collection, for example query some Album with specific tags or without specific tags, exclude some images and select order.Then you can use this Filters when create Galleries.
Just go to edit Banner playlist and clear titles for each image -> then Update playlist to save changes.

Preview image for video and music can be set in Cover field.
Go to Edit Mode find your video and insert in Cover field gmedia ID of any image or URL of some image.Can’t help you without link to your gallery. Plugin does not have any limits, but if you load all images at once there is server’s PHP Memory Limit and MySQL Query Memory Limit. This limits are different on different servers.
Update Phantom to latest version (v2.5) on Modules page. If problem still appear, go to edit gallery -> Advanced Settings -> increase ‘Delay for Thumbnail Positioning’ option and Save changes.
Also be sure you have no .htaccess file in ‘wp-content’ folder. If it there delete it, because it restrict access to plugins’ files.
You should also add width to the div style (set your own width):
