OK. I’ll test it on Mac and let you know about solution. Any way would be better if you give me temporary access to WP Dashboard, so I can test it on your server. Did you update plugin to the latest version? There is a new uploader in v3.19
For now I can recommend you to sort by title (add before title 001, 002, etc) or sort by Last Modified date (you need to edit and save images fields in order you need).

If your theme support shortcodes in text widget, then you can insert shortcode in Post (with Gmedia MetaBox), then copy and paste it to Text widget.
There is a lot of plugins for password protect content in wordpress repo. You can also set Post visibility to Password protected.

Also post a link to your page.Go to Gmedia Library -> assign some category to music -> Go to Manage Galleries -> Available Modules tab -> find Music Player Module and click create -> choose category from which to grab music and set other settings -> Save.
