I’m working on new module with displaying covers for albums and categories right now.
As for the moment there is only one module which use albums covers called Albums Stripes: https://codeasily.com/portfolio/gmedia-gallery-modules/stripes/
But it is not yet available in License pack and could be purchased at Envato Market: https://codecanyon.net/item/albums-stripes-gallery-module-for-gmedia-plugin/19200691

Checked twice, it works for me. Maybe you can give me temporary access to your WP Dashboard, so I could test and fix on your side. Also be sure it is not the cache and you have the latest version of Albums Stripes module (v1.4 at the moment).

You should set “Custom Cover (media image ID)” for each video in the Gmedia Library.

First, upload the covers to Gmedia, then go to Gmedia Library -> click Action button to go to the Edit mode -> you can filter items to show only video items -> then for each video item find “Custom Cover (media image ID)” field and click blue button with image icon -> popup with Gmedia images will appear where you could choose cover for current video.

Seems like some other plugin overwrite Gmedia’s CSS in the admin panel.
Try go to Gmedia Settings page -> Other Settings tab -> check “Enable Gmedia admin panel Isolation Mode” and Update Settings.
If it will not help, then give me temporary access to your WP Dashboard, so I could try to solve this problem.

Unfortunately, Gmedia can’t import media files from XML Feed. But you can try find some plugin that could import images to WP Media Library. Then you could import them from WP Media Library to Gmedia Library and delete.

Add code below to Custom CSS field:

.gmedia-phantom .mfp-description {
    position: relative;
    left: 50%;
    width: 80vw;
    transform: translateX(-50%);
}

80vw – means 80% of window width. You could change this number to fit your needs.
