ParticipantOkay, I think I understand how the “All” button functions. No problem. Thank you for your help.

ParticipantMany thanks again for the swift response.
1. I specified in my original post Slider Window Settings -> “Show Share Buttons” rather than Collection Window Settings -> Show Share Buttons. Now that I uncheck the button in the Collection Window Settings, it works fine. Many thanks.
2. Perhaps I don’t understand the “All” button on the Slider Window page (or perhaps I don’t understand the terminology; perhaps it’s a different window; sorry); it’s this button:
Toggling between the All button and the title does not change the view, but merely reloads the page. I probably don’t have my gallery/album set up to take advantage of this feature. I thought the all button would return the visitor to the main module page with the different categories. No problem if I’ve misunderstood.

ParticipantBTW The “All” button on the Slider Window page seems not to be functioning as well.

ParticipantJust updated AlbumsVIew to 1.5, and the “Show Share Buttons” are still showing, that is, are not responding to unchecking the -> Slider Window Settings -> “Show Share Buttons.”
I tried checking the “Show Share Buttons”, saving the change, then unchecking the “Show Share Buttons” and saving again. No change. The buttons still show. Or have I misunderstood something?

ParticipantMany thanks for the swift reply; I look forward to the fix. Thanks.

ParticipantI checked details each time I tried (I usually do anyway, just to see the changelog), and each time was told that the newest version was available (1.9.18), but it still would not install that version. Very strange. In any case, I checked again today, and the 1.9.18 did indeed install correctly. Thanks for keeping track of the WP background information. I would not have known to look there.

ParticipantMany thanks, as usual, for the swift response.
I’m still unable to get the update to take but will keep trying. The “closest” I’ve gotten is that it updates to the same version, namely, 1.9.17.Thanks again.

ParticipantI had the same problem with 1.9.18 yesterday and today. WP tells me to update, I do so, it tells me it’s installed, then “after less than a minute the plugin reverts back” to 1.9.17. I waited overnight, tried to update again today, and have the same problem. Any fix?

ParticipantThanks again for the response. I don’t think I’m advanced enough to know where or how to set these exclusions, and no plugins I’ve tried seem to have these options.
But thank you again. I appreciate the swift response.

ParticipantThanks for the swift response. I realize lazy-load plugins affect only single images, but unfortunately I need a lazy-load plugin for many pages. If I understand you correctly, however, one cannot use any lazy-load plugin if one is also using Gmedia gallery? Is that correct? Under no circumstances?
Thank you again for the response.

ParticipantThe blank or hanging gallery screen has crept back in. The previous setting, obviously, does not affect the gallery appearance itself. My mistake. I have tried several lazy-load plugins, but none works with Gmedia. I thought the lazy-load problem was fixed in an earlier version of Gmedia. Is there any solution? Thanks.
I have turned off my lazy-load plugin, so the galleries will display properly, but I would appreciate any help.

ParticipantFixed in settings:
“Forbid other plugins to load their JS and CSS on Gmedia admin pages:”
Thanks for that option.

ParticipantUnfortunately I am having trouble with Minima module galleries once more going blank when Rocket Lazy Load is activated for “images.” Do any lazy-load plugins work with Gmedia? Any suggestions? Thanks.
kosis
ParticipantResolved: It seems the plugin “Speed Up–Lazy Load” was preventing the thumbnails from loading.
Now using “Rocket Lazy Load”; no problems.kosis
ParticipantYou can sort your images, no problem. You need to locate the tags or albums to which they are attached. Try:
Gmedia Gallery -> Albums, Tags… -> (Choose TAG to edit by clicking on Tag or “Edit”) etc. etc.
You are not sorting images in the “gallery,” but in the “album” or “tag” to which those images are assigned. When you use “add/import files” to upload images, you are asked to assign those images to an album or tag.
If your images are not yet assigned, then on the Albums/Tags page you can create new albums or tags, e.g., a new album “Selma March”; then you can go to your Gmedia library and assign your images to that album or tag in edit mode. The album or tag will show up with those images for editing as described above on the page Albums/ Tags, where you can drop and drag to sort your images as described..
